River Town Adventures is teaming up with Keys to Creativity to bring you the ultimate summer kayaking experience.
The shuttle will leave from the Lansing
City Market at 4 pm. We will then go
to Moores Park to decorate your kayak !
You will receive a kayak decorating kit and
be able to express yourself for the Summer of Love Peace Paddle. Decorate your kayak with flowers, streamers and all the works. Once all the boats are dressed up and looking good we will start our paddle to the market. We encourage people to dress up in their favorite summer of love outfits. Flower Power DJ Boat will be playing all your favorite 60's hits. We encourage you

Capitol Lawn Movie Night: Inside Out

This exciting art fair will coincide with the successfully established Renegade Theatre Festival, a deal-seeker’s
Sidewalk Sale and a mouth-watering Food Truck Rally. Last year this festival became one of our biggest yet and

leather, metal and other mediums of art, along with several food vendors!

Volunteer Day - Coffee & Clean up
Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
410 S Cedar Street Lansing
Join us for the first in a series of light trail maintenance days. We will meet
in the parking lot of the Riverfront Business Center at 410 S. Cedar, for
coffee and cleanup assignments. Groups of volunteers will then head north
and south on the River Trail to perform those assignments. Some tools
are provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring any yard tools they
may have available (clippers, trimmers, shovels, rakes, gloves, etc.).

On August 12, Spartan Dance and Fit Center will be hosting a fun-filled

face painting, and balloon art for the kids! Vendor tents will be on hand
from local businesses. This event will include music, movement, food, games,
activities and most importantly a fun filled day.
