BWL Chili Cook-off 2017

The 22nd annual BWL Chili Cook-off is coming back in the fall on Friday, September 29 at the Adado Riverfront Park in Lansing. We're certain this year's theme will rock you--join us for Music Mania! Dozens of vendors will be dishing out a variety of chili recipes from mild to spicy, including local restaurants, non-profits, businesses and organizations. There will be live music played by local musicians and bands, a merchandise tent and a chili dog eating contest.
Chili Fast Passes are back again this year! Grab a pass and get into the park to taste-test 30 minutes early! Tickets can be purchased at the booth outside the event.

The Friends of Lansing's Historic Cemeteries will host its eleventh Annual Fall Walking Tour of Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lansing on Sunday, Sept. 24th from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Entitled "Academics, Athletes and Authors," this year's tour features 20 individuals noted for their contributions in one of those three areas.
Refreshments will be available at the mid-point of the tour. This family friendly event is free and open to the public. It will go on rain or shine, unless there is lightning.

Volunteer Orientation Fall 2017

Learn the basics of the co-op and how it works. We will also give a tour of the space
and go over tasks volunteers can help with. No mechanical experience is necessary, there are plenty of non-bike related tasks we need help with such as book-keeping,
making flyers / graphic design, marketing, etc.
Attending a volunteer orientation is mandatory for all new members, and at the
end you will be given an opportunity to sign up for a shift to fulfill your 3-hr time donation as a member.
