There is something for everyone at the popular annual Winter Glow event – East Lansing’s free, outdoor winter festival. This winter-inspired annual tradition will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, in downtown East Lansing with a wide variety of fun-filled seasonal activities from 2-5 p.m. Best of all, It’s free!
The Winter Glow activities will be located in Ann Street Plaza, Fountain Square and inside the East Lansing Marriott. The outdoor spaces are adjacent to the intersection of Albert and M.A.C. avenues.
This year’s Winter Glow will feature ice carving, horse and carriage rides, a special outdoor holiday farmer’s market, a heated music tent, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus (3-6 p.m. inside the Marriott, photos are $5), family-friendly activities and games, holiday ukulele music by Sigh Music Studio, winter photo scenes, marshmallow roasting, merchant activities, roasted nuts, a community art project with the East Lansing Art Festival and much more.
The Winter Glow is produced by the City of East Lansing and is sponsored by the East Lansing Downtown Management Board and Michigan State University Federal Credit Union. Downtown parking will be free from 2-7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 for the event.

Annual Festival of Trees

Embrace the holiday spirit and join us for the 6th Annual Festival of Trees. All three floors of the mansion will be filled with decorated trees and holiday charm. Monies raised from the admission price go towards projects to preserve and enhance the Turner-Dodge House! $5 per person admission at the door, children 12 and under free.
