Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk 2017

The 8th Annual Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk invades the Capital City once again on Saturday October 28, 2017. All ages of the undead are welcome to walk for FREE! They ask participants to bring a nonperishable food donation in support of the Greater Lansing Food Bank, and to assemble at 3pm inside the Lansing Center by Exhibit Hall C. After collecting your donation, the horde members will be given a wristband for free entry into How-To Halloween to terrorize the festival and get a group photo before being unleashed on the unsuspecting citizens of Lansing, Michigan at 4pm.

Strange Matter Coffee vs. Comet Coffee

In conjunction with the BIG GAME, Strange Matter Coffee (Lansing) will be competing against Comet Coffee (Ann Arbor) in a Dollar Drive fundraiser.
Choose your team, put a dollar (or more?!) in the corresponding jar and help Strange Matter defeat Comet Coffee by raising more money! This will obviously, also help your team win, because karma.

Oktoberfest Beer Tasting and Cruise on Michigan Princess

This Oktoberfest beer tasting will feature beer over 30+ fall seasonal beers and ciders. We pick the best fall seaonal beers from Michigan, out-of-state and imported to get a well rounded list.
What pairs with great beer? Of course, blues and rock 'n’ roll, from Mark Warner, a Lansing-based musician, who’s soulful originals touch on past influences while playing into a modern blues, folk and rock sound.
Tickets are $20 which includes light appetizers and the boat cruise. You can buy beer buy the pint for $5 and up or in the 4 - 4oz sampler for $5. The sampler gives you a chance to try several beers before committing to a full pour or just sample it's up to you! On top of the 30 beers, there will also be domestic and other craft beer options.
