517 Creatives in Lansing

For the last entry into our triptych ode to All There Is to Love About the 517, we wanted to make sure Lansing’s creatives got their due.

This final list is a love letter to the creative minds who call this region home, though 517 entries isn’t nearly enough space to encapsulate all of the wonderfully talented and legitimately awesome folks in our community. This crowdsourced list demonstrates just a sample of the richness, creativity, and generosity present in Lansing’s creative community. 

What defines a creative, you ask? A “creative” is someone who believes in the value of artistic expression. It’s someone who innovates, connects concepts, and brings ideas/objects into the world that enriches the lives of those around them and makes their community more interesting  — and Lansing, you delivered. 

On this list you’ll find artists and crafters of all sorts, plus a mix of musicians, dancers, DJs, poets, writers, designers, and directors who help our region tell its story.
